Bluegreen Vacations Orlando Sunshine Resort

Hotel was amazing beautifully updated ,great location just few miles from universal ,stores ,and restaurants ..The pool was heated it was cold out side and it was so nice to swim the hot tub was nice size and they have fire pit,grills,and many outdoor games to play.just couple cons couch in room was very uncomfortable, cleaning fee was higher then most rci properties and a tacky magnet on fridge asking to load dishwasher ,strip your bed which is stuff we usually do but when paying 145 cleaning fee hmm. All in all i highly recommend this property .

The rooms are pretty standard for bluegreen properties. Our biggest downfall of this location is there is not enough parking. Many people were parked in the grass or made their own parking because it's so limited. You also don't actually have a place to park in you need to check in. The check in is on the opposite side from where you park. The biggest plus, this is close to everything. 5 minutes from Universal. And plenty of shopping areas and restaurants close by without having to hit a bunch of lights or get on the interstate.

We are Bluegreen Owners and this location is the worst we've been too. Totally not impressed. Poor parking. No security. Poor front desk service. Pros: Outdoor pool, hot tub, and games (shuffleboard, bag toss, ping pong, etc.). Rooms are large and pretty nice, but slightly outdated. The screened patios on the rooms are very relaxing area. Location is fine, easy to get to places you want to in the attractions area. Plaza in front of the resort has a little grocery store that is fairly high priced but a nice convenience. Cons: Parking is not suited for the building (too few spots). Rear parking is dark and feels unsafe. Random people sitting parked in the middle of the aisles with dark tinted windows (suspicious). No security was ever seen walking the resort. The resort can be accessed by anyone walking up off the street and it's RIGHT ON THE STREET. The front desk isn't helpful and doesn't respond to needs or questions very well. We called down for coffee packs and they never came up. They aren't friendly and welcoming and act like it's a 1-star motel

I was given a freshly reconditioned room beautiful 2 bedroom full kitchen, washer / dryer in the room but the best part was the master bedroom with the huge whirlpool tub . To bad I couldn't really enjoy it . On my 2nd day the faucet came apart maintenence came looked and said I should use the other bathroom for the shower because the faucet in the master was "wonkey" he would get it replaced its still broken on the 5th day. Not very good customer service . Also we were woken on the 2nd day very early by what sounded like a vehicle accident , the dumpsters are right by our room . I have 7 choices for hotel description but none really apply just good view of the pool
